Everyone’s LOVING the Mockingbird Stroller, So I Had to Join the Flock. Here’s My Review.
When my little girl arrived I thought I had my hands full. Then I had twins… and “hands full” doesn’t begin to cover it. I needed somewhere to put all my babies together. Could any stroller support my family?
Some of my new parent friends were completely sold on Mockingbird’s objectively beautiful Single-to-Double Stroller, and I knew instantly I’d love to be seen pushing it. But for my trio, could it possibly do the work?
I usually have a strict rule against impulse purchases past midnight, especially for things this expensive, but in the middle of a nighttime feeding I wanted to believe this stroller would be a game-changer for us. The best news: it is.
First of all, there’s room for all 3 of my kids
I recognize that most parents stroller shop for a ride to place one baby in, maybe another one down the line. Over here, I had a squad to outfit. And the Single-to-Double Stroller made it happen.
Sure, you can buy the Mockingbird Stroller with a single seat, but you can easily add on the Second Seat Kit and Riding Board, which all together offer 19 different configurations depending on what best suits you. This means that even when my husband is occupied, I can still make it around the block with all three of my kids on me. (How far we go is between me and them.)
It’s loved by Babylist, Good Housekeeping, Lucie’s List, and TheBump
Who isn’t a sucker for a positive review? There are a lot of good strollers out there, but to know that Mockingbird has the seal of approval from 4 prominent parenting editorials? Okay, you’ve officially sold me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here’s what they have to say about it:
“Overall, the Mockingbird offers a really smooth ride — for both baby and for whomever is pushing it.” – Lucie’s List
“[…] New parents will love the Mockingbird’s features, from the durable wheels to the large canopy to the roomy storage basket.” – Good Housekeeping
Trust me: it’s a worthwhile investment to make
Strollers are not cheap, but considering how much time your babies spend being buckled into them, it makes sense. The Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller costs $450 for a single seat, and $595 for two. Add the Riding Board on for $95. This is an investment I was happy to make, especially considering it’s risk-free.
That means it ships free, you can put it to use for 30 days, and if you decide it doesn’t work for you within that time frame, you can send it back for free. You’ll probably keep it, though, in which case you benefit from a lifetime warranty.
It’s spacious, but it also knows how to get out of the way
Having room for all my littles was the first box to be checked. Next up was, when it’s time to put this stroller away, would it give me grief? That was something I had to try out in person to decide on, and it passed the test.
The Mockingbird Stroller is able to be folded using one hand, and the seats and riding board don’t need to be removed to fold it!
You can customize it (I’m telling you, it’s the little things)
This stroller has the look of luxury. I never denied its beauty, it just felt unlikely that a stroller so svelte could meet my needs. Well since I was clearly wrong, I had the pleasure of customizing my stroller—and not because I’m a VIP (I’m just a regular mom, yawn). Anyone can!
You can choose your outer canopy color, the high-contrast black-and-white pattern under the canopy, and the finish of your frame and handles. Momming is a job with so much sacrifice, it was such a treat to get to make these decisions for myself.
We live in our Mockingbird Stroller
For a stroller I was skeptical of at first, I spend so much time loading my kids in and out of it, napping my babies to sleep in it, grocery shopping with it, you name it. Not a day goes by that we don’t use it. I’m so grateful Mockingbird found its way to me, because it’s truly the best fit I can imagine.
